Following some enthusiastic fund raising by our pupils over the last four months, KHS successfully raised £1000 for our twin school in Ghana.

The money was sent last week and is to be spent on buildings and new classroom block.  Several new classrooms and offices will transform the school and will improve the education for the 200 pupils who attend.

Early this week KHS received the following email from the headmaster.

“Halleluya – to God be the glory!

Words will find it difficult to express how excited I am to hear this good news.  I am overjoyed to see this.  I give God total praise and thanks for this and I also give special thanks to the children of Kettlethorpe, may God richly bless and endow you.

The people are smiling and thanking God.  I think we are in the business of serving the people, and when they are happy, we are.

Yours,             Godwin Agudey,
Headmaster
