Competition Winners 2007 –2008

Pupils entries for Wakefield in Bloom are currently on display in the foyer of Wakefield Town Hall.

Check out the giant poster on the advertising hoarding next to Wakefield Opera House, which features our school along the bottom. So far Rachel Sunderland 9K2 and Joe Wilson 9K5 have spotted their work.

Lions Peace Around the World Poster Competition

Prizes were awarded by Peter Reeve, Bill Collin and Peter Hobson, from Lions Club International, Denby Dale District, in the Year 8 Assembly on April 8th.
Lauren’s entry will go into the regional final.

45 pupils received certificates of appreciation for their Record of Achievement.

Once again we have been successful in the Chartered Institute of Building Schools Safety Poster Competition 2007: Playsafe:

Prizes were awarded for the best posters showing the importance of safety on building sites and how accidents are to be avoided.
