The Stromboli Experience

1.Go to www.heinemann.co.uk/hotlinks

2.Under “subject” click on “geography”

3.  Under  “series” click  on “Geography Matters”

4.Under “book”  click on “Geography Matters 3 Core Pupil Book”

5.Scroll down to “chapter 6”

6.      Click on “page 95 All Activities Virtual Volcanoes and Earthquakes”

(You are now on the Stromboli page)

7.      Now go to start à programmes and click on Word or Power Point ( your choice)

8.      If Word, go to table à click insert à click table à choose 2 columns & 7 rows.

9.      In your first column write the headings…..

a.      Population & Settlement

b.      Transport

c.      Shops

d.      Weather & Climate

e.      Vegetation

f.        Tourist Information

g.      Health & Safety (Risks & Accidents

10. If Power Point, create a slide with each heading mentioned in 9 above.

11. Now select, copy and paste relevant text, maps and photos from the Stromboli page to your file
