Year 8 at York Oct 2003

9a.m. Monday 27 October … Weather great but no coach. Oh Dear!Fortunately the coach was only 10 minutes late and a great day in York looked a distinct possibility.
The visit to the Environmental Agency to learn about flooding and York’s Flood Defences proved very informative and the CD Rom slide show was very well presented.
Better still though was the Wall Walk and land use “I Spy” exercise.
Best though by far…. Not the Geography…Not the Flood Centre…Yes, without doubt….The Ice Cream Parlour and Souvenir Shops
